Nitefort: Lets stay in to end homelessness

At SHOC & Trinity we really miss getting together for our usual exciting events/activities/fundraisers and we wanted to give all of you AMAZING humans an opportunity to continue to support the work we do and have fun doing it!
We are incredibly grateful to our Patron Alex Horne (TaskMaster) for giving his time to support this fun TASK. Don’t forget to share your fort with us using the #NITEFORT so Alex can see if you’ve MASTERED it (see what we did there)….

‘NiteFort’ is a great way for all the family to get involved in building your very own Fort! You can fortify it, create a drawbridge, a moat (maybe check with mum and dad re the moat) and have booby traps to scare away advancing armies aka younger siblings. You can have a mascot (the dog loves to be dressed up, right?) and a flag! Then spend the night in your incredible creation, don’t forget the chocolate and the wine for mum!

See Alex’s video here for details of what’s involved and donate here!

To build the best most EPIC fort, you can use items from around the house (not your bed) and we have some great hints and tips to help you with this…

  • Once you’ve built your fort, film a YouTube or Vimeo video and post on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #nitefort (if you are not on Social Media send the video to
  • Either donate a minimum of £5 or ask your friends/family to sponsor you!
  • Alex Horne will choose his favourites and post a montage but will also choose a winner in a 30 days time ( 31st May 2020)
  • The donation link will be open throughout the duration of the lockdown.

From you generous donations we can:
£5 – Hygiene Pack
£10 – Food Parcel or sleeping bag
£15 – pays for one nights accommodation

SHOC relies on fundraising and your donations will mean we can not only support those still on the streets but have enough funds to open our doors again once the lockdown lifts.
It takes an entire community to end homelessness, come and be part of that solution.
Thank you,

The Trinity and SHOC family.
